How visitor information is used
Important VOW privacy notice: Personal Information that you provide may be collected, used or disclosed as described in this policy, including being shared with PropTx for auditing and/or legal purposes. By accepting the VOW Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, you consent to these practices.
Salehian.com uses the name, verified email address, phone number, contact preference, real-estate goal, general timeframe, account identifier, VOW agreement record, access expiry, saved-property choices, and a limited search audit trail of registered VOW visitors.
Why this information is collected
The information verifies VOW eligibility, records acceptance of the Terms of Use, protects the MLS® data from unauthorized use, supports compliance reviews, keeps a client’s saved properties available across visits, and allows Mehran Salehian to provide relevant follow-up.
Saved properties
When a signed-in client selects a heart, the listing identifier and a limited snapshot of the property are saved with that client’s profile. Mehran Salehian can see the client and the property they saved. Removing the heart or selecting Remove in the profile deletes that saved-property record.
One-time search emails
If you ask the website to email your current search results, the address you enter and the search filters are sent to Resend only to deliver that requested email. Salehian.com does not save the entered address or create a subscription. Sold or historical results can only be sent to the verified email address of the signed-in account that is authorized to view them.
Search email alerts
If you opt in, we store your saved filters, verified email, consent time and delivery status to check daily for newly listed active properties. Resend processes alert emails on our behalf. Every alert includes an unsubscribe link. You can remove searches and their saved records in My Profile. Unsubscribing stops that search’s emails; it does not affect other searches.
AI assistant
You may optionally share your name and email or phone, request a callback, or request a property showing in the chat panel. The form requires your agreement to contact about that request. These details, the property and preferred time are saved with the conversation for Mehran to review, for 90 days after its last activity. Form contact details are not sent to OpenAI. A request does not confirm an appointment or subscribe you to marketing. The assistant also flags questions that may need a human answer for the private owner report.
Before you send a chat message, the chat window explains that the conversation is saved and can be reviewed by Mehran. By sending a message, you agree to this use. Your question and recent conversation messages are sent to OpenAI to generate a reply. Salehian.com saves your submitted questions, the assistant’s replies, reply status, language and timestamps in a private owner inbox. Chat records are not linked automatically to your registered account; you remain anonymous unless you identify yourself in your messages. Conversations are available for 90 days after the last message, then excluded from the inbox and removed in bounded cleanup batches as new chats arrive. Starting a new chat or reloading clears the browser’s conversation view, not the saved record. To request deletion, contact Mehran with the approximate date and enough information to identify your conversation. OpenAI processes messages under its API data policies. The site retains hashed request identifiers and hourly counts to limit abuse; it does not save raw IP addresses for chat. Do not enter sensitive personal, financial or account information. The assistant can make mistakes, cannot access restricted MLS records, and cannot book appointments or submit requests. Use the contact form to reach Mehran.
Sharing and protection
Registration information is not sold. It may be disclosed to PropTx, the applicable real estate board, the brokerage, service providers supporting this website, or regulators when reasonably required for compliance, security, or law.
Website analytics
Optional analytics starts only after you choose Allow analytics. You can decline or change your choice using Privacy choices. We measure page views, property views, broad search categories, saved-property actions, search-alert saves, contact-form attempts and phone/email clicks. Our private reports store random browser and visit identifiers, timestamps, referring website domain, device category and country when available; they do not store full referring URLs, search text, contact-form content or raw IP addresses. Signed-in activity is linked to your account and visible only to Mehran. Anonymous activity is not identified by name. First-party reports use a 90-day reporting window. Older events are removed in bounded batches as new activity is collected. Account deletion removes linked report events. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected. Google Analytics also runs only with permission, with Google signals and advertising personalization disabled. Its separate retention settings are managed in Google Analytics.
Account deletion
In the website or iOS app, open Account, then Delete account. Confirm by typing DELETE. This permanently removes your active account, profile photo, profile, saved properties and saved-search alerts, and invalidates all sign-in sessions. VOW registration and security audit records remain restricted to compliance purposes under the VOW requirements, with access revoked. A later registration creates a new account.
Retention
VOW registration and access records are retained for the period required by the applicable VOW agreement and MLS® rules. Reasonable safeguards are used to restrict access to these records.
